If you are looking for the highest quality wedding venue when it comes to how it looks, the food, even the service of those that you are in contact with, then you have found the place. Julie, the owner, was super quick and responsive when it came to any questions that I had before and after booking the venue. The amount of detail that goes into the venue itself is amazing. We barely had to spend any money on decorations because it was already cute to begin with. The food served was amazing. The chef was willing to answer questions for us when it came to the food sensitivities of guests that we had coming. The fact that the venue also took care of the catering made it seamless. And when it came to the end of the night, we just had to take what we brought and they handled the rest. Truly one of the best venues I've seen all around!
Our wedding day was absolutely perfect! The venue was beautiful and Julie (the owner/coordinator) was extremely helpful. Her communication, professionalism, guidance, and kindness eased my wedding planning stress. Our guests especially raved about the food! Blue heron is the exclusive catering company- everything was tasty and fresh, with so many different options that were not your typical buffet food. They exceeded our expectations in every way!
Julie with Fox Hill was wonderful to work with! The venue is beautiful and spacious,
We had our wedding fall of 2023 and it was an amazing day. Julie was great to work with and helped us throughout the entire process and did very well communicating with us. The food from Blue Heron Cafe had our guest raving about it, everyone loved the pork roast. It was a beautiful fall day with great places for photos.
We loved our special day with Fox Hill Event Center. Between the ease of planning, food, easy set up/tear down and our day of coordinator Georgie. Our day was absolutely stunning and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Thank you for having us at your venue!
Business Testimonials
I wanted to reach out and say thanks for everything. Our event went perfectly and we received so many comments on the venue and staff. I appreciate how flexible you were with us and your constant communication.
Brian and Julie,
Thank you both for everything. Brian, the food was wonderful and we received lots of compliments. Julie, a big thank you! Your suggestions really helped me out. Everything went off like a well oiled clock. Thanks to both of you.
Dear Brian and Julie,
Wow! Another successful year for Festival of Trees despite all the odds. We thank you both for everything you did to make the event work so well. Everything looked so nice and tasted so good. We appreciate all of your hard work! Sincerely,
As vice-president of the Cadillac Gideons, it is my privilege to represent the entire Camp in this letter. President Lee Reibel asked me if I would convey our appreciation and sincere thanks for the outstanding manner in which you both functioned in making our recent Pastor’s Appreciation Event successful. Thank you for being so cooperative and pleasant to work with.
Also, the cleanliness and attractiveness of your entire facility, including the tables, the serving area and the excellent food items–all worked together to make our guests feel welcome and appreciated. Thank you for a most delicious dinner. We look forward to many more happy times with you.
Sincerely,
The Cadillac Area Community Foundation held the 2009 Philanthropist of the Year Celebration at Fox Hill Event Center October 15th and was overwhelmed with the service and professionalism of Julie and Brian Williams and their staff. Local owners Julie and Brian Williams have created an outstanding facility and combined it with “to die for dining experience”. Julie worked with our staff and Board members to create exactly the right atmosphere and physical appearance from the color of the tablecloths and napkins to the type and color of the floral centerpieces. They provided access for delivery of special equipment and have installed a terrific sound system for presentations. As this is their first year in business, they are constantly looking for ideas and suggestions from their clients for ways to improve their service and facility. The Cadillac area has embraced this new business endeavor and welcomes a new and different location to hold our Special events. Kudos to Julie and Brian!
Chris and I had a birthday party for 100 people at Fox Hill and every part of our experience exceeded our expectations. Brian and Julie were accommodating with our plans and their facility. The food Brian prepared was beautifully displayed and delicious. Our friends are still talking about his creative dishes. Sophisticated and affordable. Thank you Brian and Julie for building a gorgeous event center in Cadillac. One word for Fox Hill……..Bravo!
Fox Hill was the perfect place for our employee party. The facility is a great size with lots of windows for a spectacular view and a nice setting. We had a band with plenty of room for dancing, people playing cards and networking tables – all going at once. The food was exceptional, especially for our strict requirements and limited diets for health. We really couldn’t have expected anything more. It was a great party.
Every year our company, Dynamic Physical Therapy, has a post holiday party for our employees. This year we had the pleasure of holding our party at the new Fox Hill Event Center in Cadillac, Michigan. The facility is spacious with an elegant open air feel, but not like that of a traditional banquet hall. The lighting can be adjusted to set the mood you desire. The elegance spreads out on to the patio and surrounding grounds, unfortunately our party was in January so we were not able to take advantage of this additional space. The food was simply wonderful. The chef, Brian, had prepared a unique combination of eclectic dishes that satisfied every palate. The food was served from several stations, each with it’s own theme, a very nice touch. The wait staff was very attentive and accommodating.
In this day and age of cookie cutter restaurants and banquet facilities, it is refreshing to see that there are people like Brian and Julie Williams that will take the extra step to make your event “special”. Our experience was excellent, and we will be back. Thank you.
I had the opportunity to utilize Fox Hill Event Center on May 5th for a staff celebration. It is a beautiful building and a welcome to this community! I was amazed at the taste and detail of the facility. The staff were accommodating! The food for our breakfast was wonderful! (Hot and extremely well presented, not to mention the price was affordable). Do not judge the acoustics of the facility when you first visit. We had a group of 40-55 and had no problem at all. I will be anxious to use it again when all of the grasses and landscaping has matured. The grounds are laid out for a variety of uses.
